So whatcha think about Nicholas Kirkwood?
After working on our shoes/leather class we had to make this project on a shoe designer. Nicholas Kirkwood was our pick. I’ve got to admit, I didn’t know much about him, but as the shoes obsessed that as I am, Im quite happy to have finally found a true shoe designer. More than that .. he is a true artist.

Valentino’s RED collection seems almost like a story-tale. As if we skipped the crazy and busy beat of fashion week and floated out in a fantasy world where Blair Waldorf meets Alice in Wonderland. Thigh high boots coming back.. hell yes! What can I say about Helmut Lang, theres black, white, red, fur, leather and suede.. I love it. All fabrics are well worked and structured yet it all looks very soft and elegant. I want all of these outfits immedietaly in my closet please.

I love living in paris. It’s these little things that make any day a little better. Going to work or leaving after work and walking past place de a Madeleine and Concorde (photos) at night. Such an amazing city with beautiful sights. It inspires me everyday.

I’ve got to admit It wasn’t love at first sight when I first saw this collection. However I looked at it very closely and I am quite impressed with the details and prints of this collection. I love the use of lace and this dotty sheer fabric! The prints bring a vintage and classy touch to the whole collection.

Once again, beautifully done. The whole collection gives a story tale, yet each single outfit tells its own story. I love the auburn, brown side which gives a warm, mysterious feeling while the icy white brings softness which almost makes it seem unreal. The detailing in a whole is beautifully done with the use of leather, suede, transparence, pearls and lace. just amazing.
